Email Newsletter Sponsor Spreadsheet

This is an Excel spreadsheet for helping you price, sell, and manage email newsletter sponsorships.

Once you get the Excel file, you'll throw it into Google Sheets and make it available to anyone with the link. Then you'll spread that link far and wide and get you some sponsors.

All price calculations are based on newsletter opens (i.e. impressions). That's how I believe it should be. Advertisers pay for who actually sees their ads, not the entire size of your audience.

Send frequency

The spreadsheet contains a page for both weekly and daily (weekdays only) newsletters. If you have another sending rhythm, for example weekdays plus a special Sunday edition, DM me on Twitter (@sneddymobbin) and I'll build it, update this product, and let you know when it's ready. This may cost more than $20 depending on the amount of work involved.

Ad types/volume

The spreadsheet is currently configured for three ads per email at two different price points. If you don't feel comfortable copying columns and formulas to add more variants or additional ad slots, DM me on Twitter (@sneddymobbin) and I'll make something custom for you.
